This was my all-around medium duty condenser that I just happened on, and I don't remember how, but no regrets!. The mic sounds great, and the Pad and Low-cut switching made it an easy choice for hi-hat or drum overhead. I also used it on acoustic guitars, strings, piano, and studio vocals. - Bob -
